Here's my current setup

PSU: Corsair RM750
Motherboard: GA Z77 DSH
CPU: i5 3570k
CPU Cooling: H100i water cooler
GPU: R9 290 Vapor-X oc
Memory: Corsiar Vengence 8GB Ram 1600mhz
Case: Phantom 410
OS: Windows 8.1 64Bit
SSD: Samsung Evo 250gb SSD
HDD: 2tb Seagate 7200rpm HDD
Monitor. ACER CB280HK 4K 28" LED Monitor

What's the best and cheapest way to get the full 4k experience?

I've maxed out my 290 GPU on project cars and the graphics are just awesome but the card cant handle it although the game runs it is too slow to be playable.

I suspect if I go crossfire I would need a new PSU, but would 2x R9 290's do the job or would it be better to get a single card that is up to the job if such a thing exists.

758W according to eXtreme Power Supply Calculator that would be a push, not sure my budget would reach to a new PSU and a GPU unless I get a cheap one which I wouldn't if I was going to go crossfire.

Oh well maybe wait till next gen come along.

Too be honest I'm not sure my monitors have always run at 60hz but I have to say project cars looks sweet as, the games that matter look the best my advice is hold off till the tech gets better I would have but I have money burning a hole in my pocket so I took the plunge
