How to get into left for dead.

Right I bought left for dead 1 a while ago, I've got about 10 hours or so play out of it which was pretty fun. However It got boring real fast, now I think this was down to the fact I found it too formulaic and too easy. But I can't help but feel I missed the point, as I love anything zombie related and I love games that require teamwork.

Now I haven't bought a mic yet, you reckon that would be a good purchase? Also call me a noob, but I'am not really sure how to get into the whole ocuk lfd community. I click on the group "500 players in game" but nowhere does it show me how to join one of these games.

Any people here that still play, and are a good laugh?

Or is it just a game for people with lots of friends that play computer games?

Ok I've been having a play around again. And changed my opinion, Versus isn't the throwaway tacked on mode that I first thought it was - it is actually the most varied and fun mode on lfd. The campaign is just for kicks, but the true multiplayer is in versus.

This game is fricking awesome. No idea why I didn't enjoy it so much the first time, but I'am loving it.


Anyone up for a campaign game tomorrow at around 8 ish, expert mode if possible? Because playing with randoms is anoying as hell.
