The RAM is supposed to run at 800Mhz, I can't actually get it there. It's G.Skill, if I'm overclocking my processor the computer won't boot with 800Mhz, but it will with a ratio of 1:1 which underclocks the RAM to 533Mhz. Is there anyway I can get the RAM speed up or will I need to bring the FSB down? I'm confused about how it all works.

Voltage is 2.1V, with default timings set 5-5-5-15.

Thankyou.

I've got the RAM running at 1:1 with my FSB at 378Mhz, so it's now at 533Mhz and the tRC is at 19 by the SPD, I might loosen the timings because Orthos failed last night after 3 hours, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong here.

Thanks for the help, it's really helped me so far. It seems the timings with the ratio at 1:1 weren't helping. I had it by the SPD, which set 5-5-3-6. I loosened them to 5-5-5-15 and I'm getting a lot better results.

In CPU-Z the ram is running at 379Mhz, would 379x2 = 758 = DDR2 speed?

Thanks again :).
