How to get my hands on some Superflower modular cables

That's what I was afraid of. So I assume I should get in contact with superflower and see if I can get any replacement cables from them.

Hmmm failing that, how compatable are the modular cables? are all the leadex series the same cable? I could always buy some cheap low watt model and take the cables from that. edit. NVM I've just seen that they don't really make cheap modular units

You can send off your PSU and get the cables braided or repaired by a 3rd party.
yeah I've seen those services but unfortunately I don't have the cables. I Just bought a 1000w Plat unit for £20. reason it was so cheap is because it's sold without the cables. I've got a month to make my mind up or return it, would love to get some cables and try it out as I'm looking for a new PSU but I could always just keep it until they do release some braided cables, not like it cost much.

well it arrived today, with more cables than expected but not enough to get a rig up and going, missing sata/molex cables and only have 3 pci cables.

tested it with an old cheap psu tester and everything seems fine. Might even have found a site that sells braided cables but it's going to cost a good £60-80

I had the same with my Antec PSU, you can't buy them unless you contact them directly, no harm done if they say no!
it's been contacting them directly that has been problematic, they have customer support teams in Germany but that's not a lot of help :p but Might have the issue solved shortly, maybe more info on that later.

either way worst case scenario is buying a cheap 600w modular unit for around £55. can always be kept as a backup for one of the smaller PSU's i have in other PC's
