I've just had a play with my ram timings.
OCZ Platinum 4x256MB Stock of 2.5-3-3-7 2T
Tried changing it to 1T and it just BSOD'd when trying to boot.
What's wrong there? the 4 stick proving a problem? or do I need more volts, currently running at stock.
I then tried changing the Cas from 2.5 to 2. It booted windows fine.
I used Everest to do benchmarks on my memory at stock to test my memory so i could see any improvements gained.
Here's the results so far
Stock vs lowering Cas from 2.5 to 2
Read 4983MB/sec - 5153MB/sec (+170)
Write 4062MB/sec - 4066MB/sec (+4)
Copy 4334MB/sec - 4427MB/sec (+93)
Latency 62ns - 59.9ns (-2.1) remember less is more lol
And i swear to god i noticed a difference in windows boot time.
Just incase people can't read my crappy sig i've got an X2 4200 in an Asrock Dual board currently running at stock.
