Hi Guys,

Need some help trying to connect my Virgin Media V Box to my PC via my TV Card (Terratec Cinergy 2400i). Its connected by RF lead since I obviously cant use Scart...

Cant seem to find it when I auto scan - any help?

I do have an old Analogue card as where somewhere (Hauppaugh WinTV Radio) - should I use that instead?

Thanks

The RF output of the V Box is Analouge , usually channel 52 , unless it has been changed. so i would try your analouge card.;)

Hmmm is there no way it will work on a Digital TV card? After all its both from a RF Lead and its not encrypted and the like?!?

Basically like a Freeview Box ...

Got it working in the end :)

Are there widescreen ATV cards? If so can you recommend me one? This old card only does 4:3...

Not looking to spend a lot since Ive got a decent DTV card...

Thought Id bump this as Im still looking for a widescreen ATV card...

P.S. It would need hardware MPEG 2 decoding and preferably PCIe and a hybrid...

Hi Guys,

Looking into this again and trying to decide what card to get - I heard a rumour that any tv card will work if it actually has inputs (prefer RF as its just simpler and doubt its that inferior to what SCART/composite can provide)...

Really confused as it seems hard to get a straight answer
