How can I make the file small enough to be used as a sig? Its 30k when at lowest JPG quality

Not my current one. I've got it saved in photoshop and cant for the life of me shrink it small enough - its at 375x75 pixels so far and 30k....thats at the lowest quality setting

Yup PNG is even bigger. I've reduced the amount of image in the sig, its only got one picture in it and some text but still no luck, will only go down to 30k - is it just the image quality is too high?

Use Save for Web function, and then select jpeg. Then adjust the Quality slider until you see the filesize in the bottom left change to about 16KB (it then should save at around 19kb, but check before you upload it).
It optimizes the file pretty much.
