Guys I got iphone 4s 64gb and its been a bitch recently... Battery drains like hell no signal in pocket and overall I want to get a replacement :p

I got appointment with those genius bars on Friday, how can I convince them to give me a replacement ? :D Since a lot of girls that I know just get replacements when they shouldn't even get it.

To be honest, most of that sounds more like a software problem than a hardware problem. You shouldn't need to get a replacement, a simple wipe and reinstall should sort your problems.

The signal thing, worth trying the reinstall before you do anything else.

Agreed. Backup, wipe, restore, see how it does.

Wouldn't hurt to calibrate the battery too; Drain it until it turns off, charge until full, see how it does :)

I actually did exactly this today. I went into the Oxford Street store a few weeks ago to ask about the awful battery life. He told me to do a 'DFU Restore' (Google it). Give that a go, restore everything, and if it's no better by the time your appointment comes around, just tell them you've done that and it didn't work. They'll bluetooth your phone to their device and get all sort of stats up, so don't lie about it, but I had no trouble today, and as soon as I said I'd done the DFU and it didn't work, he said 'Ok, it must be a deeper problem, I'll just go grab you a new one', and that was it! :)

Did that DFU reset and now after 20 minutes of use on 3g, only took away 3% instead of 20...

Thanks a lot

Update

Overall, I still went into apple store and moaned, they found out that battery was 1180 mah instead of 1420 so I got a replacement on a spot within 10 minutes. The Iphone was jailbroken before, but cleaned with ios 6. But as an advice, dont lie to them... The guy left his laptop with my iphone attached and lots of **** came up, glad I didnt mentioned phone call drop since it had graphs about if that was happening.
