How to get rid of adware?

No idea where its come from on my work pc as I dont visit any dodgy sites and am very careful with emails etc but something has slipped through the net as every click within Chrome opens up a new shopping tab or something similar.

IVe ran malwarebytes and its identified 6 files and removed them but it just keeps coming back.

What else can I run to get rid of it? Happy to pay for something if need be.

Boot into Windows safe mode, rescan with Malwarebytes, and reset Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en-GB

download adwcleaner and run that. then use malwarebytes to clean up the rest.

goto chrome then settings and change your home and search options back to google.com

Last week I had an adware issue , DNS Unlocker...It was in my Origin and also on my Battlelog page , it happened just after I downloaded star wars battlefront Beta....anyway...I used Malewarebytes and after that all was fine

Check which addons/extensions you've got running in Chrome

CCleaner can be very handy for finding startup items too.

Then mbam.

Keep Windows updated
Remove Java
Remove Flash

Run as a non-admin account.
