How to get rid of ffdshow in taskbar?

Right I just wanted to quickly put a few videos my dad together. For simplicity I just did this in Windows Movie Maker however now it's made about one million icons in my taskbar (possibly literally). The same thing happens when I edit videos in Adobe Premiere etc. and I haven't a clue how to get rid of them? Obviously once I close Movie Maker they should go but it's currently encoding/uploading them all to the web so they're going to be here a while

So, how do I stop my computer from showing a million icons?

Right click on taskbar, properties, customise, then change the icons to always hide

It's in the ffdshow settings under tray, dialogs and paths.

Same for haali media splitter. Just go to options and you'll see it.

That is for when its running, the issue here I think is they remain after they have closed the media.

lol. If you get rid of them, then they won't remain after the media is closed. Because they won't be there in the first place!!!
