Hi all, i have a 360 on the way, and in preperation have purchased an official ms vga cable.

I was thinking that i would be able to plug the red / white cables into the supplied adaptor and then into the headphone socket on the volume control of my logitech 2.1 speakers. However, the 2.5 mm jack adaptor supplied with the vga cable is shaped in such a way that it won't fit into the volume control hole because the plastic gets in the way (ie it's the right 2.5mm slot, but the design of the volume control thing prevents me pushing it in far enough.

what kind of adaptor do i need to get? Or in fact, would my original plan even work? Can i simply get some sort of 2.5mm male to 2.5mm female extension?

I have official vga a logitech 2.1, just put red + white into lead that came with speakers, now you will only have 1 green plug...connect that to vga cable.

It's just an RCA (phono) to 3.5mm stereo jack adaptor (sometimes called a gaming adaptor), the one with the leads in the link or the moulded block at the top of the page both do the same job.

Very easy to get hold of.
