How to get to the School Prom?

Basically me and benjo need an idea quick :eek:. We were planning on going in one of the tractors pulling a trailor, but much to out dispair were informed that it was illegal.

So now what? The leavers party is a week on thursday.. What are we going to do? :eek:

In a nut shell.. We need: Extravagent, cool, ott and just generally something funny to make an impact :cool:.

All help is rrreeeeeaaaaaallllllllllllyyyyyyy appriciated.

Oh and we don't want something like a stretch Hummer or a Limo. Thats too boring..

i managed a last minute fire engine. very very loud music.. champane.. and MEN. if your into that kind of thing.. if not, a wheel barrow :)

Well I had a bit of an advantage in that I was already part owner of a 1954 Ford F-800 Pumper outfitted by Howe. I had spent much of the previous fall and winter getting it into running condition. I originally brought it up as a joke but she really liked the idea. :eek:

I haven't a clue how you might go about getting one. A lot of historical societies own old fire engines (at least near me they do). You might call one up and see if they'll hire one and a driver out for you.

I fear you misread it was "How to get to the School Prom", not "what to get at the School Prom" ;)

Fire engine sounds pretty cool if you can get hold of one, failing that maybe look at classic cars, a nice old Rolls Royce still has a touch of class or maybe some of the older style with running boards etc(I can't think of any models right now).
