Basically I have 1 150gb drive. I have partioned it so I have C: @100gb for windows XP. I have the other 50 for vista. Now before I booted from the windows vista business disk and installed it fine...but it had stolen the C: and wouldn't let me use my XP pro install no matter what. I then deleted the partition with vista on and formatted XP pro etc. Now, I want to know how can I get Vista installed without doing the same crap? I have made another partition on C: but when I try and run the vista disk from within windows XP it says:
"Setup can not run on this version of the operating system. To install windows please try booting from the install media"
But if I do this it will cause the same problems again...so I really need to install from within windows I guess
Any ideas?
Using Vista Business X64 btw.
