How to get Windows 8 like Windows 7 please?

I'd say man up and get used to Windows 8.1.

Booting up to desktop is an included feature and the start menu is not that much of a deal if not better.
It's so much easier than going Start > Programs > Some Folder > Some Program.
 
That's a bit harsh. Instead of complaining the OP has come with an open mind looking for solutions, and I don't think that should be discouraged.
