How to give the computer a set IP address? Netgear router.

Hi,

I have a samsung tv with plex installed on it. You have to tell plex the ip address of your pc for it to stream video.

This works fine until you switch the router/pc off.

I assume it's because it's then assigned a different ip address and the tv is still looking for the previous one.

I take it I should give it a late on IP address ? IE 192.168.0.9 for example so it doesn't try to take one that is already taken??

(if that even made sense)
