Hello. (rig in sig)

My PPD for my new chip @4.2Ghz is 3359

7970 is around 7000

I was getting around 13-14k with my old Phenom 955 + 5770 CF

Using default V7 client SMP+GPU install.

Any tips on how to improve my score?

Thanks

Stick something like a GTX 570 (15k PPD) in there or if its too much a GTX 460 (10k PPD)

There a rough idea of PPD. Nvidea tend to do better at folding.
Swap your i5 for an i7.

You miss the point. My old rig was a 4 thread AMD and it was double the PPD of my new rig. Trying to find out how to increase it since I have new beefy hardware.

Also that suggestion of hardware swapping is absurd.

Yes I'm using a passkey.

PPD is definately too low, I'm getting 14k PPD on my 2500K @ 4, you should be getting more than me.

Have you only just started with the passkey? It took me about 10 days before I was getting bonus points.

Can you list your current TPF and Project for the SMP core?

Been using the passkey for my last 350k folding points.

7611 units are painfully slow to crunch. I normally get 28-32K but these run around 8-12K so its not to surprising your getting that sort of lower figure. You'll just have to wait and see if it returns to normal with other units which i'm sure it will.
