How to install Fortnite on an iPad now it is not on Apple store

My grandson needs to install / update Fortnite on his iPad. How does he do this please nowadays please?

There is a work around but I can’t tell you. I might get my Apple phone blocked and get permabanned from the forum.

I did find there is a way but it involved installing one of several unapproved apps etc these then allow Fortnite etc to be installed - so he is not going to bother! Thanks for info all, Mel

Apple is going through some crap at the moment to do with privacy and security allowing 3rd party stores.
