How to install KDE programs on windows - can someone try this?

There is an application called "&Linux" which accomodates the running of Linux applications on Windows platforms. I've not used it myself, so am uncertain of performance etc.

Why? I cant even think of a single desktop app for which there is no superior, native windows alternative. I suppose Evolution mail can give outlook a run for its money!

Well, I tried it and (bearing in mind I am a Gnome man and not a KDE bod) it works to a fashion:

Konqueror doesn't seem to want to work, that's about all I have tried. It's really slow, takes ages to load up for some reason and on first play it moaned about a missing dll which I had to d/l from the web.

As good an idea as it is, it seems to be an exercise in futility and has no real application (as far as I can see):)

I'm fairly sure KDE 4 is being ported to windows anyway, as its written with Qt4 which is cross platform most of the apps will simply cross compile, so these 3rd party apps soon wont be required :)
