How to install previous version of Youtube?

Hi,

I updated Youtube to the latest version this morning (one with picture-in-picture function) but I'd like to revert back to the old version if possible?.

Reason being our little lad likes watching Thomas the tank engine etc on YT on the phone sometimes and he just can't get used to the new feature as it blocks off half the bottom of the screen where you can see related videos which he usually flicks through to watch something else. It's confusing his little brain, poor wee sod!!.

So is there a way I can revert back to a previous version of Youtube?. I'm running a Jailbroken iPhone 4 if that makes it any easier to do?.

I'm not on IOS, but on the Android version there is a full-screen button which you can click (click the running video, then the arrows icon). Would that not solve the problem?

You can downgrade if you have a legit copy of the .ipa

He does rotate the phone but it just seems that the newish layout is confusing him a bit, especially the picture in picture thing.

How do you go about that?.

iTunes will keep a version of the .ipa if you used it to install an app.

I've just looked in my iTunes folder in 'iTunes Media' and 'Mobile Applications' and there are loads of .ipa's in there but no sign of a Youtube one which is a bit bizarre?.
