How to install vista on a separate partition?

Hi guys

I would like to try vista out, i have got a 100gb hdd, i would like to install it on a separate partition on my hdd, i have got 2gb so that should be ok?

Can anyone help?

You got 2gb of what? if hd space then that would not be enough.

assuming your current os is xp, just use gparted or something to make another partition then click "custom" in vista's install, then pick the seperate partition and itll automatically setup a dual boot
