How to install Windows 8.1 OEM version?

Hi, i recently bought a copy of Win 8.1 OEM from OcUK for my Brother. I have never used any OEM software on a new machine, never used Win 8 or 8.1 in any version either.

He seems to think that it has to be installed using a microsoft oem deployment tool only. Am i correct in thinking that this only applies if you are installing it onto lot's of machines, that the deployment tool is for mass use?

the license for windows is per PC so if its been used on a PC already you will not be able to activate it on another PC unless you have a different product key.

if you want to download any version of windows 8.1 either to make a USB stick or ISO use the following site

Stick the disk in the drive and away you go it's the same as installing any other version.
