How to make a youtube video?

What software is good to make a youtube video? I want to be able to pop up a couple of info bubbles at certain points in the end product. What is the best thing to use or anyone recommend a deent guide?

you do that on youtube itself, upload your video and add annotations unless you need actual graphics?
