I have 2 machines with identical Seagate 320Gb drives. I thnk they are the noisiest drives I've ever had. Anyway, in one machine with a cheap steel case, the noise is just tolerable. But in my expensive all aluminium Lian Li case, they are just awful. It seems like the case magnifies the noise
And with Vista working the drive excessively for no good reason...
I guess what I need is something like rubber insulators, grommets or something, can anyone recommend a product to try and isolate the drive from the case a little and reduce the noise ?
