-How to make profit off stock market from good ethical companies?

Yesterday I bough 10.000 shares on of certain company on stock market. Today they have made me 4,400.00 profit. But this money is on the stock market. Not in my bank ac.

If I sell all those shares then I will have the profit of 4,400.00 but will not make any more money.

How get that profit, whilst still making more out of those shares please? ta

Bit of a riddle.

Once you sell it will normally sit in a settlement account and then either be transferred to your bank account (normally on a T+3 day basis).

Withdraw the 4,400.00 and leave the 10.000 hoping they go up again, or withdraw it all and spend the 10.000 on different shares.

Just sell a portion of the shares. You only make a return by selling shares.

So if a stock price goes up it is the selling price of the shares that is actually going up.

What you could do is sell the shares and wait for the price to go down again and then purchase them again with the same money. This will have the same effect that you are after. I think you can purchase some types of financial instruments that give you a dividend, ie you get money annually from the shares but you don't have to sell them. But I don't know enough about that to pretend that i do.
