How to make your case brushed aluminium???

Hey guys,
My case is silver, but I really want that brushed aluminium look to it. How owuld I do this, coudl I just keep on sanding it till it gets that cool look :cool:

Or when i get a dremel should I use that, and how do I go about this?

Firstly, hard, expensive and time consuming.

That page doesn't explain too much about it. i just have a no name but it has a awindow etc. So i'm guessing I can't use a normal sander to sand it down or sand paper?

Wire brush or brass one then i say some high grit 2000 emery to smoeth it all down

Or just some scotch right back and forth all in a line

I dont think its aliminium, too heavy

But do you think instead I should just paint the case with metallic spray paint? :cool:

Or buy an Aluminium case for around £56?

If it is not aluminium, and painted, then you will not be able to brush it.

It would just remove the paint.
