How to Measure Vcore

Lets take for example these excellent vmods by Shamino :

I gotta ask the noob question so " so how do I measure the voltage ? "

Am I right I assuming you take the multimeter with positive to one of the spots highlighted and negative goes to earth but where is earth ? Side of the case ? Some place on the motherboard ? :confused:

Any help much appreciated.

If it doesn't specify anywhere for the negative contact then just touch it on the case.

Personnally I would use the 0v line in a molex, though the case should be ok as well if it's adequately grounded back to the PSU.

Thanks that sounds like the more sensible answer.

However 0V is not ground ? Hmmm or have I got my fizzics in a twist maybe it is
