How to minimize WMP to taskbar

I have a playlist saved to my favourite button and want to press that and WMP automatically minimizes to the taskbar. I've gone into WMP properties and checked the run minimized box, but that only works when opening WMP direct not when opening a file.

Is there a way to get it to do what I want?

Right click on the taskbar -> Toobars -> Windows Media Player

I had already done that, I want it to minimize without me going into WMP itself. Basically so it starts minimized when I open a music file.

Right click on the shortcut, Properties, then under the Shortcut tab in "run" select Minimise.
