how to mod car engines on GTA IV?

i saw a video on youtube of someone with a Phantom lorrie on GTA IV and he had upped the power, gave it 14 gears and made it sound like the Sultan RS! how did he do this? im mainly interested in how he changed the type of engine in the car! Thanks

yeah :/ im also noticing the lack, but i guess hes just mucking about as i have found an editor and made the truck much faster with good handeling and yeah. 14 gears! haha im now fiddling with making the truck sound like the Sultan RS complete with exhaust backfire.

yey. managed to do it xD now i have a phantom tht does 200. with quick accelerating weighing 10tonnes with a revvy engine and a blow off valve. i kept the black smoke cuz it wins imo

You need to edit the handling cfg file in the data folder of the game
