how to monitor health of raid1 drives?

i have set up in raid1 on my abit an8 ultra rig which im using as a fileserver, is there are sort of drive monitoring tools (like SMART) which works on a raid1 array?

The Nvidia RAID tools are probably the best option, they should have been installed as part of the chipset driver package.
