How to mount rad and fans?

I want to mount a 360 rad and three fans at the top of my 700D, I want the fans on top the rad so it would screw through case>fan>rad. But the screws that came with my rad are too small for this. How would I mount the rad with my screws or would I need to buy some more, if so what screws?

EDIT:
I think i need M4-0.7 screws, anyone know where to get these?

Thanks
Freddie :)

You can do it both ways, either with one long screw that goes through the case, the fan, then into the rad, or you can use a smaller screw to screw the fans to the rad, and then screw the case to the fans.

I've done it both ways sometimes it depends on the fan, whether its easy to do or not. Its definitely easier to do the single screw method, some radiators come with both long and short screws for this, I know the EK radiators do.

To the OP what radiator do you have?

I have a Hardware Labs Black Ice® SR Series 360mm Triple Radiator : SR1 360, I tried if i just screwed the fans on, and found that I didnt have enough room to put it through the case, only the fan onto the rad. I might go down to my local store later and pick up some M4-0.7 screws.

Be VERY careful with the HWLabs radiators, make sure you don't get overly long screws or you will puncture the radiator and you'll just have a block of metal with holes in it :(

Ok thanks, I'm going out soonish to pick up some M4 0.7 screws i will try and get some longish ones, even if they are too long cant I just be carefull when screwing them in? Or do they have to go in all the way?

Best bet is to screw in one fan, so you can check how deep you need to go, once through the fan carefully screw it down into the the rad so you can see about 2-3mm of the screw thread popping out of the other side of the rad and not into the fins. Its not going anywhere so 2-3mm on each fixing is more than enough.

If need be use some washers or a rubber gasket to take up the slack.
