Hi all

Quick question - currently downloading Assassins Creed 3 thanks to the lovely free key offer from Talon1973.

But, I had Uplay installed on my C drive for Far Cry 3 already, but I got far cry 3 on disc and it gave me the option to install that on another drive, which I did.

Didn't think to check for AC 3 and it's now halfway through downloading 15 gigs into the uplay folder - on my C drive - which is only a 60 Gb SSD, and doesn't have the room (think I will have only 1GB space left once this downloads!)

How do I move it to another drive? If I unistall Uplay and reinstall it on another drive, will I lose my AC 3 download? I really don't want to have to download a 15GB game again? Any ideas?

Thanks bud. I've used a program similar in the past I think, but it's been a while. The download speed for AC 3 has slowed to a crawl now, so I might bite the bullet and uninstall uplay from my c drive and reinstall it on another and start again.
Will that work? Just done a quick search and there seems to be very sketchy info out there about uplay being hard coded to your c drive!?

When you run the installer for AC3 it will give you the option of where to install the game, so it should only use the C drive as the download point for the installer.

Ah, so will be similar to how it was for far cry 3 (on disk) then? That makes sense. Still might unistall uplay though and whack on another drive, as my 60GB C drive is ever diminishing and it stresses me out :)
