xp64, vista 64, 2008x64

i've got an empty 640gb, planning on making 3x 30gb partitions

and one ~550gb partition, on this i will install games and will export the relevant reg files fromt he windows install that they're put on so i can merge them into the other two installs

my question is
is the best way to do this in this order..

create all partitions with gparted.
install xp64 on partition 1
install vista64 on partition 2
install 2008x64 on partition 3

will the boot menu be created automatically?
if not what shall i use?

I had Vista and 2008 installed on one machine which had Vista on originally. I created the partition for 2K8 in Vista then installed 2K8. I then had to use bcdedit to swap over the boot order and create the list.

You'll have to do this for these two i'm sure, not too sure about XP though. Sorry

ps sorry to go off topic from original op "bledd", is there a way I can add an additional HD to my to my already established raid 0 drives, then when installed allow me to use an different op sys from newly installed drive.

No you cannot add another drive to the array, you can add another drive to the system though, maybe that's what you were asking?

You can then install a different OS onto it and boot from whichever no problem using either your motherboards boot options menu, F12 on startup for instance on some systems.

yes, was asking that, also the boot option is very good, i was wondering about the the boot.ini i think to which alter the boot drive.
