How to network share in Vista?

I've recently installed Vista, In XP I could share files over my network with other computers in the house (mostly my brothers) he is still set to share and is doing so correctly. I've set a folder on his computer to be shared however, I can't see it on my Vista install but I can on my XP install. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the tips, for some reason though Vista has decided, in typical Windows fashion to work after I spent a while trouble shooting. Thanks guys .
