How to obtain a copy of windows Home edition

My bro's pc running windows home edition crashes before it even gets to the log in screen and restarts, safe mode does the same.

He bought the pc without a windows on disk, so he only has it installed with a genuine MS sticker on the side of the case so at least I have the activation code whenever i do finally get it sorted.

I personally dont own a copy of Home edition but I do own a copy of Professional.
So is there a way to legally either obtain a copy of home (download preferable) or use my copy of pro to re-instal his xp home ?

You'll need to purchase a replacement CD from MS, I think it's around £10.

You can't use your cd as it's not the home edition.

No he bought it 2nd hand from a local pc shop (or at least my mum bought it for him)
