Can anyone that owns an Eclipse 62 tell me how on earth they managed to open the darned thing? I know the bit about the thumb-screws, and I'm fairly adept at tugging furiously for up to half an hour at a time. Nothing seems to budge either of the side-panels. Help! :(

:D

Should just be 2 thumbscrews on the rears of both side panels and the top panel.
To get some of the internal parts out you have to take the front panel off to remove some screws.

I've successfully unscrewed those about an hour ago. The top panel has come away, but no joy with either of the side ones.

Is it time for me to get the pneumatic drill out?

Edit: Hooray! The safe has been cracked. I just had to perform the sacred ritual and say a few magic words.

No, don't drill it - it's just a tight fit.

Place the whole palm of your hand on the panel and give it a good firm push. It'll move. It's easier after the first time ;)

So many double-entendres, so little time to appreciate them. It's all done, guys. I'm now retiring into a higher state of consciousness as I finish building my machine of death, destruction and deprivation.

Thanks for the help!
