How to open bonnet on Aston Martin DB6

Tldr: Googled how to open a car bonnet and found an awful guide.

I needed to open the bonnet on a DB6, being unfamiliar with the car, I quickly found a handle but upon gently pulling on it I wasn't greeted upon a familiar feel or sound.

Rather than pull something off or damage anything I quickly googled for the process and this was the first result:

Tell you what mind - Google is caching OCUK content like never before as fast as 5 mins I have seen. I'm fairly sure OcUK are on a mission to take over Google content. I'm shocked because a lot of fake news could be done here - Google caches it so fast.

I have read it now, I did miss the point clearly.

It reads like it was written in another language and hastily translated, by someone who has never seen a DB6 before, but is attempting to instruct you anyway.

That's an interesting how to. Pretty clearly written by someone who doesn't know how to, and in fact has never been anywhere near a 1968 Aston Martin DB6.

Did you get the bonnet open, that’s the most important bit! And how did you do it? I think the DB5/6 bonnet hinges at the front rather than back.
