How to open hotmail attachments automatically?

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place, I wasn't sure where to put it, but please move it if appropriate.

Basically I'm trying to help my dad with a problem with his emails. He uses hotmail and gets a lot of emails sent with picture attachments, however to view them he needs to click on every link individually which is a PITA. How do I set it up to auto open them within the message?

I have forwarded the mail to my gmail account and they all open fine so it is just hotmail.

Help would be greatly appreciated by us both.

You probably want to avoid doing that, given the plethora of viruses within emails.

Yeah I know, I don't want to auto open everything, just get the pictures displayed in the message body itself.

Ah it seems they auto open in IE but not firefox??
