All the released nvidia drivers to date have allowed me to overclock to 650/1000. Now with 158.19 I cannot overclock my core or my memory by even 1 mhz. It says gpu clock failed when I manually set the core and memory and click test. If I select find optimal it tells me 547/900 !!! wtf !! these are stock at 576/900. And it's telling me optical is 547. Anyone had this issue ? I only tried with sli enabled.

There is an option to use automated overclocking. Anyone tried this ?
I will probably jut bench in 3dmark will automated overclocking set and if it's pants to what I was getting on the last released drivers at 650/1000 then it's back to them. Looking bad so far though. Other alternative is to probably flash my cards to 650/1000 again which is what I had to do for Vista. Using XP at the moment by the way.

I wouldn't trust 'automated clocking' myself, but there must be a reason why you can't change clocks manually.

You could try doing a driver 'rollback' to the previous set, and see if the clocks work, then re-install the 158.19s

I'm using the 165s and they seem fine in games :) I'll try some benches later.

Yeah...am going to just uninstall these drivers and ntune. Then install the 165.01's I am grabbing now and then ntune and go again. Worst case I can use nvflash and nibitor to hard flash my cards again like I did in Vista.

I had a similar issue, it locks up my PC whenever I try any sort of overclock with ntune on these new drivers, I just used rivatuner instead.

I dont think the 165.01's are good, they seem abit fishy to me, also things like NVTray dont seem to work for this driver, this driver also has a different Nvidia Icion :S

You don't think that they're good on the basis that "they seem a bit fishy" and it "has a different icon"??

may be more helpful to supply some benchmarks......

No I also think there is something fishy because there not on guru 3D were most propor BETA stuff is and the in game performance is not as good and someone reported them as a different driver in Riviatuner.

When overclocking in Ntune is there a option that allows you to 'apply settings when windows starts' ? If so could you please provide a screenshot :)
