hi

I read that overclocking guide I found on this forum and it says increase this, increase that, but how do you actually increase the multiplier, vcore voltage, fsb, ddr voltage ect. Is it done in BIOS?

If yes - is there an alternative like some software that does it because I have a sony vaio with celeron 2 Ghz 400 fsb and PC2100 memory and some Award bios that have so limited options that I can only change some basic things like the boot order of the drives.

Is it possible that sony removed the options?

EDIT: This is a desktop computer not a laptop

Cant do it mate, you need a new motherboard, i had an old msi board and it was the same, i couldnt overclock on that board whatsoever.

Thee may eb a way of flashing the BIOS to a different one but ive never heard of it.

Sorry i cant be of much more hlep.
