Strange question here. Was wondering of the best way to package a CPU if i no longer have the original packaging? All i have is a cpu, stock hs/fan, and an empty amd64 box. Is there any particular cloth i should wrap the cpu in, then wrap that in bubble wrap, and that in cardboard?

just wrap the CPU in bubble rap should be fine

I was thinking though, cpu wrapped in bubble wrap, loose in a box with a chunk of metal that weighs the same as a bag of sugar.

I might bubble crap it and stuff it into a small box.

I found a padded jewelery box which the cpu will go into. Then i will bubble wrap the jewelery box, put the heatsink into the AMD box first, then put some cardboard over the h/s and put the bubble wrapped jewelery box with the cpu inside, on top. Sound good?

PS.

If any amd x2 / dfi users see this, please check out my thread in motherboard section, i need some help!
