features? bluetooth?

Some prefer foam mattress, some prefer pocket springs. Some beds have a solid base some have a sprung base while others have slats.

All i'll say is don't scrimp. Even if you only sleep 6 hours a day its still 1/4 of your life. A good bed will last 10 years while a crap one might last 3. I spent a grand on our Millbrook one and its fantastic. Just a little like climbing a mountain to get in though.

I think id like a more softer mattress this time, id like it so springs wont dig into me in a few years time and a mattress that supports my weight plus id like a mattress i can sleep in multiple positions and its comfy in all but mostly side or front as i dont like on the back sleeping feels weird.

Thought about foam but it takes awhile to regain shape i hear compared to latex plus i move around too much and it isnt breathable as its man made material.

Also im lazy so spend much of the day with the bed shoved to desk and use comp that way hehe. So somit thats good for long periods of the day.

Just need to know about springs, how many do i need cos of weight etc, and the other stuff they all say and whats a good one for my price range. I would have liked more money but 350 is all the budget loan would give me.

I bought a bed in Germany in the ‘90s and I’ve still got it. You might get some tips from my purchase?

The sales pitch was the best I’ve ever heard. Briefly the salesman said that if you had a room that was warm all the time you could buy a divan bed, however, if you liked a warm bed but a cold room, you should buy a bed where air can circulate underneath the bed.

A solid wooden bed with a high headboard is more stable than a padded headboard slid into button like things attached to the bottom divan.

He also stated that if you are getting-on-a-bit it was advisable to buy a quite high up from the floor bed because many older people hurt themselves (sprained wrists, tumbling backwards etc) trying to sit down on lower beds.

Ours had two lattice bases, each lattice could be adjusted for firmness (sliding pieces across the lattices) and both the head and the foot of the lattice could be adjusted upwards. The salesman said this would allow us to have our feet up in bed and was a useful assess if people were on their feet most of the day.

We had two separate Latex mattresses, obviously one each, (2m x 1m) and the sides of the mattresses are covered by two different fibres. Horse hair (all those German monks I expect) and Sheep’s’ Wool. The mattresses have not lost their properties, the horse hair is cooler than the sheep’s wool which allows a certain amount of choice.

About two years ago I paid a cabinet maker to cut the bed down to a single bed.
