How to power lights outdoors?

Hi there,
I am thinking about filming some kind of show that might have outdoor scenes. What is the best solution for powering lights outdoors? They use just a normal 3-pin head.

There are all kinds of video lighting equipment that run from battery systems you can buy. Obviously its going to be pricey though, so you could rent instead.

Another cheap option, depending on the professionalism of the production would be to use a small generator or powerful battery system to power halogen work lamps.

A battery? I use a 3,000Wh battery to power the LED flood lights we use in our outdoor arena, lasts a very long time.

An extension cable.

A really long extension cable if you are far away from home.

They're just standard lead-acid leisure batteries such as:

I just connect them straight to the LED lights because they run off 12v, however you may need an inverter for your type of lights.
