Hey all. I have been wondering for quite some time if there is a way to disable a usb mouse. You see my problem is my mouse tends to ever so slightly move on its own so when I watch films ect, it moves and brings up the overlay. So I would like to know if there is a hotkey or some software I can set up so I can quickly disable it. What I do now id simply flip over my mouse and that seems to work, but I wold like a better solution. If there is no easy way to do this, I am fine for using the flipping method until I get a new mouse. Also for anyone who is wondering I am using the Cyborg RAT 3, if that helps.

Do you have a remote control for your PC? My old HTPC had that issue as the joystick on the controller would move the mouse.

What video player do you use? Most have a hide cursor timeout option which you can set at the lowest value possible and then use escape key to exit full screen.

Flipping it over is the method I use, as otherwise mine can move when the sub woofer makes the room shake, also has the advantage that it doesn't require anything extra and no additional cost involved :)

I have the same mouse and the same problem with a few players, but only occasionally.
I use VLC mostly and always push the cursor to the right of the screen until it disappears, seems to do the trick with other players as well.
