How to record a drum track over a guitar track?

My guitarist sends me guitar tracks in wav/mp3 format, but because i haven't got my drum kit mic'ed up i was looking for a program that will allow me to create drum effects to put over the guitar so we can get an initial track sorted before practicing it with a live drum kit. Any ideas?
