How to record radio show on iPlayer?

Father in law plays in a band and was on BBC Radio Scotland this evening. He would like a recording of it on a CD he can listen to and I was wondering if there is a way to record the radio show from iPlayer and cut it to a disc?.

+1 and you've paid for it (licence fee) sorry if this breaks any rules but I don't see any problem with taping a family member off the radio...

My Dad was on a TV quiz show years ago (Connections with Richard Madeley) and I’ve still got a VHS tape of it, I’m sure that’s illegal but I’m equally sure iTV aren’t about to kick my door in .

I contacted Radio Newcastle about a show one of our staff was on last year, and they said it was fine to use that segment on our website - just to ask if you can have a recording.

You can use audacity to do that you just have to set the record device to the speakers.

With the few dealings I've had with BBC Radio at work I believe they usually give you a clip of the show that you were in if you ask them
