How to record "What You Hear" in Vista?

When i had my X-Fi in i could record all sound output from my PC, including backing music and the mic input using creative wavestudio. To do this i checked the recording source as What You Hear from the X-Fi control panel.

Now im on Realtek HD Audio i cannot find a What You Hear option, and i have to use Sound Recorder from Windows as wave studio doesent work without an X-Fi

Anyone help?

I use freesoundrecorder. I have it for Vista 64 and for some reason not all of the main body of the program loads up/runs which means you have to press F9 (i.e. the keyboard shortcut) in order to stop and start recording. But otherwise it's easy enough.
