TLDR: How do we clean install Win10 after a successful upgrade goes wrong?
I think I should've installed 7 before 10.
Now I want to disable dual boot, clean install 10 and re-enable dual boot.
Because my Win8.1 was upgraded to 10, can I do a clean install of 10 using USB and type in the key for 8.1?
- I upgraded Win8.1 to Win10 on a SSD.
- I installed another SSD and installed Win7.
- I altered the boot to allow dual boot, and I get the choice of OS at boot.
- Win7 works fine.
- Win10 tries to boot, but hangs just before loading Desktop.
