How to remove a header pin?

Hi,

Ive got the Antec solo case which has a pin, space, and then a pin for the power led which effectively means its 3 pins.

The EVGA 680i motherboard only has 2 pins for the power led so i guess i need to remove the spacer pin from the power led wire.

Whats the easiest way of doing this?

2 ways -if space allows move the metal from pin 3 into pin 2 of the 3 socket header! or my old favorite is useing pliers and split the 3pin into 2 seperate pins!
