How to remove dual boot?

Windows seems to think there is two windows xp installations installed on the pc, when there is in fact one, how do I remove the annoying os selection screen on boot up?

right click on "my computer">properties>advanced tab>Startup and Recovery Settings button

click edit button and you'll get a notepad pop up. remove one of the 2 XP lines

The bottom one! Otherwise you may have a problem if you delete the top one
