How to remove English US from word

I'm typing my dissertation at the moment and am getting very annoyed with it underlining all the English spellings of words, I've tried going to the language options and it has both US and UK highlighted, is there a way of removing the US from it, I can't see anything obvious.

It was quite obvious in the end, I was just having a stupid moment, just went to language and select UK and then default

sucks big time, mines in end of jan, nearly ever other course has a couple more months on it than mine, arghh
